1000 grams of hawthorn meat with pedicles and cores, the amount of sugar can be adjusted according to the taste. I like to put less sugar on the sour taste and more sugar on the sweet taste. I only put 300 grams, which tastes a little sour. You can use fresh lemon juice. It can also be packed in ready-made bottles, which can prevent oxidation and increase the gloss of jam;

Pour 500 grams of cold water first, then pour the hawthorn meat and sugar into the bread bucket; the amount of water is not fixed, check the consistency of the jam midway, and then add an appropriate amount;

The Dongling JD08 bread machine I use, with its special "jam" program, defaults to 1 hour and 15 minutes;

Use a spoon to scatter the white sugar. With the continuous heating, the white sugar can melt well;

Check the state of the jam halfway. If it is too thick and the pulp becomes large, you can add an appropriate amount of water to dilute;

When frying the jam in the bread machine, blanch the container to be filled with jam in boiling water for 2 minutes, invert the button to control the water, do not wipe the inside with kitchen paper towels or cloth; immediately put the jam into the bottle after it is boiled, and place it upside down; put it after cooling. Refrigerator can be kept for several months without deteriorating without opening the lid;

Because I made a large amount, it has exceeded the maximum capacity of the bread machine. If you want a more delicate jam, you can put it in the cooking machine, and add an appropriate amount of water to make a hawthorn paste;

Stir-fry in a non-stick wok and cook until you are satisfied with it, then put it in a bottle and seal it.

Tips:
1. The more water in the hawthorn sauce, the lighter the color. If you want a darker color, you can slowly boil or stir-fry for a long time. The water will evaporate and the color will become darker;
2. The bottles and spoons for holding and picking up hawthorn sauce must be blanched in boiling water before use, and the dry water can be controlled by inverting the button. Do not wipe the inside of the bottle with paper towels or cloth to prevent bacteria from being brought into the bottle and causing pollution; After adding the jam, the inside of the bottle can be kept in a vacuum state; it is kept under refrigeration. Use a clean spoon to pick it up when eating. If you have not eaten it, continue to store it in the refrigerator. It is advisable to eat it within 5 days after opening the lid;
3. If you think simple hawthorn jam is too sour, you can cook the sauce with all-match apples, and the taste will be more fragrant.
