Halloween Brain Cake
1.
Prepare a 6-inch red velvet cake.
2.
Cut the cake into the shape of a brain, and dig a piece in the middle to form the left and right brains.
3.
Drizzle with a layer of syrup.
4.
Apply a layer of protein cream or icing and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour.
5.
The fondant paste is soft, add a small amount of yellow and red pigments, and knead the fondant cake into a yellow flesh.
6.
Knead the fondant paste into strips, not too long.
7.
Paste the fondant sticks on the cake according to the pattern of the brain, and then brush with a layer of raspberry jam.
Tips:
The cake base does not have to be red velvet cake, as long as it is a little solid. If the raspberry jam is gelatinous, add a small amount of water and heat and stir to melt it.
