Irish Steak
1.
In a heavy frying pan, heat the vegetable oil and butter over medium heat until the butter melts. Boil the onions in the butter and oil and stir until they are slightly golden brown, about 10 minutes. Use a spatula to push the onion aside.
2.
Wipe the steak with the cut surface of the garlic clove.
3.
Put the steak in a frying pan, set aside the onion, and cook over medium-high heat until the meat is discolored but the inside is still slightly pink. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes on each side.
4.
Remove the frying pan from the fire. Pour Irish whiskey slowly into the hot frying pan (be careful, the smoke of whiskey is flammable). Mix the brown onions into the whiskey and simmer over medium to low heat
5.
Sprinkle the steak with salt, black pepper, and parsley. Turn the steak over in the whiskey pan sauce so that both sides are covered with the sauce, and then serve with the sauce.
