【plum Dew】a Healthy Drink for Green Plums

Prepare materials. The top white sugar can be soft white sugar or fine granulated sugar with better quality. Personally use small yellow rock candy.

Wash the fresh green plums one by one with clean water, and throw away the rotten and seriously injured ones. (Slight bruises can be removed and used as plum dew) Open the tap and soak the plums in running water for more than 2 hours to remove the astringency.

Put the green plum on the plaque and let the water dry. (You can also use kitchen paper to wipe dry one by one)

Pick up the stalk with a toothpick, then cut the plum into a circle with a knife, and then divide the cross into eight petals, pry a small part of the pulp away from the core so that the juice can flow out.

Put the sugar and plums in turn in a large sealed glassware and press firmly. The sugar must be less than the plum, if the sugar is insufficient, you can increase it. (If you use honey, put the plums first, then pour the honey)

The plum juice flowed out the next day, and the sugar melted. Shake the bottle every few days to accelerate the melting. Store in a cool place or refrigerator. Because fermentation produces gas, open the lid once a day to exhaust the air. You can drink it after 10 days to 2 weeks. After 30 days, the pulp can be taken out and stored in the refrigerator.
