Sugar Hawthorn

Slice the hawthorn fruit and soak in light salt water while cutting. Then blanch it in boiling water to remove the astringency.

Put it in a pot, add water to just soak the hawthorn fruit, and add sugar.

Bring to a boil on medium heat, then turn to the lowest heat and simmer for about two hours until the syrup is thick and slightly thinner than honey.

The delicious sugar hawthorn fruit is ready.
Tips:
The pot is best to use ceramic or stainless steel, and turn it over during the cooking process to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pot.
