1. Remove the stems and seeds of fresh hawthorn
2. Put the pure hawthorn pulp into the steamer after boiling
3. It’s best to cover it with a plate to prevent steam from flowing into the basin
4. Steam on high heat for 20 minutes
5. Then add the rock sugar powder while it's hot. I grind the rock sugar into powder. You can also use the same amount of white sugar.
6. Use a wall breaker to mix into a paste. If there is no wall breaker, use any machine at home that can be stirred.
7. Pour the blended paste into a basin to cool. Now it’s cold, so let it cool in the kitchen and it will solidify.
8. Cut the frozen hawthorn into slices and then cut into strips about 8 mm wide and 60 mm long
9. Place in the baking tray
10. The oven is 90 degrees, the heating air is circulating, and it is baked for about 6 hours. Because my oven can only be timed for up to 3 hours in this state, it can't display 5 hours. I added 3 hours after the 3 hours. The specific time can be flexibly controlled, as long as the hawthorn sticks are basically dried.
11. Baked hawthorn sticks. I need to bake 2 pans here. Don’t want to do too much, the amount can be halved
