Pour maple syrup and white granulated sugar into the pot, cook on low heat, and stir while boiling

Mix low-gluten flour, baking soda and powdered sugar, add unsalted butter at room temperature, and knead it with your hands until it becomes loose.

Take 15-16G dough, knead it into a ball shape by hand, directly put it in the oven to preheat, and bake it for about 25 minutes at 170°C and 150°C.

Baking Tips Use raw walnuts for the walnuts here, and you don’t need to bake them in advance.
If you don’t have maple syrup at home, you can actually make it with honey.
When the shortbread is finished, it should be placed in an airtight jar to keep its crispness.
