Brownie Pudding Cake
1.
In a medium-sized basin, stir together the flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, then mix the milk, cooking oil (preferably not soybean oil, if you only have soybean oil, use cooked soybean oil) and vanilla Stir it into the noodles and mix it into a paste. The foreign recipe book puts 1/2 cup of milk, but it will not produce the effect if it is relatively dry. After three experiments, I found that 3/4 cup or a little more is just right. Note The batter is neither too dry nor too runny. Stir it into a thin paste and pour in the walnuts and stir evenly.
2.
Spread a layer of grease on the baking pan, and then pour the adjusted batter evenly into the baking pan.
3.
In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder evenly, then add boiling water and stir until the sugar and cocoa powder are fully melted.
4.
Slowly pour the syrup water onto the top of the batter in the baking pan, be sure to turn it slowly, if you pour it quickly in one place, the batter underneath will be flushed out of the pit, which will affect the appearance of the cake after baking.
5.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees, bake for 40 minutes, and then cool on a wire rack for 45 to 60 minutes. Cut the cake and put it in the pan, then use a spoon to spread the pudding at the bottom of the baking pan onto the top of the cake, or place the cake with the top layer facing down and the bottom with pudding facing up. If you like, you can put vanilla ice cream on top of the cake and serve it together.
Tips:
In the recipe book, the oven temperature is set at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, which is approximately equal to 176 degrees Celsius, but the oven is different. It is recommended to set the temperature between 140 degrees and 160 degrees. The first time I baked it at 170 degrees, the surface was a little burnt and the syrup at the bottom came up. I tried to lower the temperature to 140 degrees. It felt just right. If the temperature is low, I can extend the baking time slightly for fear of not being baked properly. Everyone pays attention when baking and sets the temperature suitable for their own oven.
