Corn Cake
1.
The ingredients are ready. If you want to lose weight, try to choose this kind of coarse particles that have not been processed.
2.
Wash the red dates, remove the pits, and cut them into strips.
3.
Wash the coarse corn kernels, add a lot of water, put them in a rice cooker, and cook them with the porridge key. The corn kernels are very absorbent, and the amount of water should be a little more.
4.
The cooked polenta is in this relatively viscous state.
5.
Put a little oil on the pan grains (a little less than usual for cooking, just a few drops, don’t put too much oil, so as not to be too greasy) polenta into the pan, stir-fry slowly over medium heat, and remove the excess water vapor Fried dry.
6.
Add chopped red dates and stir-fry together. Put the chopped red dates according to your preference. You can also add some raisins or chopped cranberries to taste. If you prefer a sweeter one, if you don't care about the calories, you can also add sugar.
7.
Grab the fried corn paste into a ball and make it a little tighter.
8.
Then use both hands to press it into a round cake shape.
9.
Put it in a greased pan and fry on both sides until slightly under the top. If you don't lose weight, you can also pour brown sugar water in this step, and the taste will be even better.
10.
The fried tortillas are chewy, refreshing and soft, with a slight sweetness of red dates. I just ate them. Corn flour has a strong feeling of fullness, and I won’t be hungry all morning after eating two of them.
Tips:
This is a diet recipe, so it is best not to season with sugar, the sweetness of red dates is enough.
