Honey Bean Pumpkin Buns
1.
Prepare the main ingredients;
2.
Put the eggs, pumpkin puree and fresh milk in the bread bucket first, then put the high-gluten flour in, and finally put salt, white sugar and yeast, and cover. Start the kneading program for 15 minutes, and pause after 15 minutes;
3.
After opening the kneading program for 15 minutes, put the butter slices into the bread bucket, and then start the kneading program for 15 minutes;
4.
After 15 minutes, round the dough, put it in a flour bowl, cover it, and leave it at room temperature. (Cover with plastic wrap and ferment at room temperature.);
5.
The dough has doubled, and check it: after the fingers are dipped in powder and poke the hole, the dough does not collapse and the filling does not show that the fermentation is complete, otherwise, the fermentation time needs to be prolonged;
6.
Divide the fermented dough into 9 portions, knead it round and cover it with plastic wrap and let it wake up for 15 minutes;
7.
Roll out the waking dough into small round pieces, wrap the prepared honey bean filling (about 30 grams of honey bean each), close the mouth and pinch it down;
8.
9.
Tie them slightly loosely with thick cotton rope into six rounds. Remember not to tie the cotton rope too tightly, because the dough will need to be fermented a second time;
10.
Brush the surface of the second fermented bread dough with egg liquid, and preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes;
11.
Put the honey-pea-squash buns with the egg mixture into the middle of the oven, and bake for about 15 minutes at 180° until the surface is uniformly golden and ready to be out;
12.
After the buns are out of the oven, let them cool for a while, remove the cotton rope, and insert the red dates into the pumpkin buns as pumpkin stalks!
Tips:
When the pumpkin is steamed, it should be sealed well, do not absorb excess water, and the amount of milk should not be added all at once, depending on the state of the dough. Because the temperature of each oven is different, please adjust the suitable temperature and time according to your own oven.
