1. The carp is cleaned, rinsed, and cut into sections.

3. Cut chives into small pieces; slice ginger; whole garlic cloves;

4. Cut tofu into pieces, blanch and remove for later use.

6. After boiling, add the fish cubes and boil for another ten minutes.
