In recent days, media reports on the illegal addition of plasticizers in Taiwan’s beverages have been endless. Some media even said that the impact and severity of this incident are no less than that of the melamine incident that caused a lot of noise a while ago. Now I have discovered that even the famous brand Shengxiangzhen jelly contains plasticizer. This is what children like to eat, but it scared me so hard, it seems that I will make my own jelly in the future.
Recently, I found out that a supermarket had coral algae (sea bird's nest) for sale, so I bought a pack of cold salad and made some tea jelly. It felt good, and my daughter would have to eat it. "

Red Dates and Longan Tea

1. Soak the coralline algae in cold water for 1 night.

2. Rinse with water several times.

3. Wash the red dates and remove the pits. (The red dates were dried by myself last year.)

4. Soak longan and wolfberry in water.

5. Red dates and longan chopped.

6. Put water, red dates, longan and rock sugar in a small pot and boil.

7. Chop the coralline algae.

8. Put it in a pot and cook until it melts and let cool.

9. Put it into a small mold, put it in the refrigerator for more than 30 minutes, and it will solidify.

10. The taste is like agar, with a strong flavor of red dates and longan.
