Steaming Crabs The key to steaming crabs is to tie them up and steam them on their backs without falling off the legs and yellowing. The crabs bought back are only fragrant if they are eaten on the same day. After two days, the crabs are hungry and thin.
The most classic way of eating hairy crabs is actually steaming. Others are spoiled. Boiling crabs is not good. Clean up before steaming. You can place it in a basin or under running water. Use a brush to scrub the whole body of the crab. The edges and corners are cleaned. Be careful not to be "eaten" by crabs, so just like me, just brush crabs like this. Although it is more laborious, it is safe.
After the crabs are cleaned, put enough water in a steamer to boil on high heat, and then add the crabs to steam. It’s simple, but there are also important points—
Depending on the size of the crab, it takes 8-10 minutes. The largest crab will be cooked in 15 minutes. Otherwise, the meat will be old and the yellow will "fly out" after being steamed for a long time;
·The most important thing is to tie the crabs together and steam them on their backs, so that the crab legs will not fall off and the yellow will not flow out. Remember! "
