Egg waffle is one of the authentic street foods in Hong Kong. Taiwan is called chicken cake, also known as egg cake. Make the juice with eggs, sugar, flour, evaporated milk, etc., pour it in the middle of two special honeycomb-shaped iron stencils, and bake them on the fire. The poured egg waffles are golden yellow, with the fragrance of cakes, and the middle is half empty, and the taste is particularly springy when bitten.

Egg Waffles

1. Prepare the materials and tools. Butter needs to be heated into liquid in a microwave oven. Here is material one;

2. Add milk and eggs to the pre-mixed powder and mix well, add melted butter and mix well

3. Stir the batter and let stand for 10-20 minutes

4. The egg waffle mold is heated on fire first, and both sides must be heated

5. Apply a thin layer of oil evenly in the mold

6. Pour the batter into the mold, don’t fill it all up, leave a little place around it, and shake it left and right.

7. Cover the mold and turn it over quickly, the batter will spill out a little, leave it alone, heat it on a low heat, about one and a half to two minutes on one side

8. When it reaches your favorite color, take out the egg waffle with chopsticks or fork, fold it while it is hot, and it will quickly become crispy

9. Sprinkle some powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate sauce, eat it beautifully

Tips:

When the mold is poured into the batter and turned over, the batter will leak out, which is normal; you need to do a few more times to master the skills
