The following is a story circulated among the people:
Irish coffee: missing someone in this life

The inventor of Irish coffee is the bartender at Dublin Airport. Because planes across the Atlantic often refuel at this airport, passengers like to drink Irish coffee when they disembark and rest, so it spreads around the world along with the flight.

This bartender was made for a beautiful stewardess.

The bartender met this girl at Dublin Airport. Maybe it was love at first sight. The bartender likes flight attendants very much. He thought she was like Irish whiskey, fragrant and mellow. But every time she came to the bar, she always lit a different coffee according to her mood, and never ordered a cocktail.

This bartender is good at making cocktails, and he hopes she can drink a cocktail he made for her personally. Later, he finally thought of a way to combine Irish whiskey, which he felt like a girl, and coffee into a new drink. Then named it Irish Coffee and added it to the Menu, hoping that the girl would find it.

It's a pity that this girl is not a careful person, so I haven't found Irish coffee. The bartender never reminded her, he just did his job in the bar, and then looked forward to the girl's visit every once in a while. Later she finally found Irish coffee and ordered it.
It's that simple? Do you know how much effort the bartender has to spend to create Irish coffee?

Basically, it is very difficult to completely blend Irish whiskey and coffee.

The first is the ratio of whiskey to coffee. Whiskey is about a little more than an ounce, about 30 cc. Coffee is five ounces, 150 cc, and the ratio is about one to five. Do you know how many trials have passed? The girl has never ordered a cocktail, she should not like the taste of alcohol, but whiskey is a throat-piercing spirit. Therefore, he must find a way to weaken the taste of the wine, but not reduce the aroma and taste of the wine. So in the process of baking the cup, the heat is very important.
Irish coffee has strict requirements on the choice of whiskey, the ratio of coffee to whiskey, and the cup and brewing method, but the choice of coffee is more casual, as long as it is strong and hot.

Why is this so?

In addition to because girls do not particularly like coffee, it also represents another form of tolerance. No matter how picky about whiskey, for coffee, it is very forgiving. The bartender may just want to make a cup of Irish coffee for her, and does not care whether she can appreciate his efforts and dedication, or whether she will be moved.

Do you know how long it has been since the bartender invented Irish coffee to the girl ordering Irish coffee?

A whole year.

When he made Irish coffee for her for the first time, he shed tears from his excitement. Because he was afraid of being seen by her, he wiped away the tears with his fingers, and then secretly drew a circle on the mouth of the Irish coffee cup with his tears. So the first taste of Irish coffee, with the fermented taste after being suppressed for a long time. And she became the first guest to order Irish coffee.

The flight attendant liked Irish coffee very much and would order a cup of Irish coffee whenever he stayed at Dublin Airport. Over time, the two of them became very familiar. The stewardess would tell him interesting stories about countries around the world, and the bartender would teach her to make Irish coffee. Until one day, she decided not to be a stewardess and told him Farewell, their story ended.

Farewell? Farewell, goodbye who won't see you again, not the same as Goodbye. The last time he made Irish coffee for her, he asked her this: Want some tear drops?

Because he still hoped that she could experience the taste of missing fermentation.

After she returned to her home in San Francisco, she suddenly wanted to drink Irish coffee one day, but she searched all the cafes and found nothing. Later, she learned that Irish coffee was created for her by the bartender, but she never understood why the bartender would ask her: "Want some tear drops?"

"It didn't take long for her to open a coffee shop and sell Irish coffee. Gradually, Irish coffee began to become popular in San Francisco. This is why Irish coffee first appeared in Dublin, Ireland, but became popular in San Francisco.

After the stewardess left, the bartender also began to let the guests order Irish coffee, so people who drank Irish coffee at Dublin Airport would think that Irish coffee is a cocktail. And people who drink it in a San Francisco cafe will certainly think that Irish coffee is coffee.

So Irish coffee is both a cocktail and coffee, which is a beautiful mistake in itself.

Okay, the story is over.

Do you know why no one ordered Irish coffee for a whole year, and the stewardess eventually became the first person to order Irish coffee?

Because the bartender made a double coffee list, only the coffee list that the stewardess gave to the stewardess when they ordered coffee had Irish coffee written on it, and the other coffee lists did not, so other guests could not order Irish coffee.

It is also because of this story that Irish coffee has an alias called Angel's Tears.

What I want to make at home today is a simple version of Irish coffee. There is no alcohol lamp, no special Irish coffee cup, and no superb technology, just to enjoy a good afternoon. :)"

Tips:

One person baked it at home with an alcohol lamp, and made it at home just to get rid of the strong smell of alcohol, so I wanted to put it in the microwave and try it out. It turned out that it was ok. Some restaurants also directly use Baileys liqueur instead of whiskey, so there will be no such heavy taste.

2 There are two gold lines on the special cup for Irish coffee. The whiskey is poured flush with the scale line below. After adding espresso, it reaches the scale line above. The ratio of coffee to wine is about 5:1.

3 I am lazy, so I used the ready-made whipped cream, or I can squeeze it with a painting mouth.

4 Since the coffee is hot, enjoy it while it is hot, otherwise the whipped cream on the top will melt away.
