Chestnut, Red Dates and Tremella Soup

This time I used waxy ear, also called ugly ear. This kind of white fungus is easier to boil waxy, so wash it with water

Soak in cold water an hour in advance. The soaked white fungus can be seen a lot bigger.

Remove the root of the white fungus, tear it into small pieces, put it in a soup pot, add about 2.5L of water

Bring to a boil over high heat, peel off the chestnuts, wash the red dates, and add the red dates and chestnuts after the water is boiled.

After the high heat is boiled again, turn to a low heat. After about 7 to 8 minutes, the white fungus becomes very soft and waxy. But the soup is not thick yet

Continue to simmer for another 15 minutes, and the soup will thicken.
Tips:
It is necessary to cook white fungus on a low fire. A low fire is easier to cook soft waxy. The higher the fire, the harder it is to cook the white fungus.
