Coconut Eight Treasure Rice

Prepare the materials;

Soak the lotus seeds for 2 hours and soak the raisins for a while;

Use a knife to place a circle on the green coconut and cut off the sponge-like skin.

Use a bone chopping knife to cut a few cuts on the edge, pry a little bit with the tip of a knife to pour out the coconut water, and then cut out the lid; you can also use a professional coconut

Soak the glutinous rice for 2 hours, then add coconut water, steam it in a steamer, and steam the lotus seeds aside;

Put the steamed glutinous rice into the green coconuts, pit the candied dates and red dates, break them into pieces, and put the lotus seeds, wolfberry and raisins into it;

Spread rock candy on top;

Cover the lid, wrap the underside of the coconut with tin foil, put it in a pot and steam for about 50 minutes;
Tips:
1. The lotus seeds should be soaked for a longer time, or they should not be easy to be cooked
2. During the steaming process, if the steamer does not have enough water to add water, it is best to add boiling water
