Tips:
There are many recipes for Christmas pudding, and the ingredients can be adjusted according to your own taste. For example, orange zest can be fresh instead of candied, lemon juice is replaced with fresh orange juice, etc.
If dark rum is not easy to find, you can use ordinary rum, Guinness beer and other spirits, or it is no problem if you don't use it.
Christmas pudding is traditionally paired with British Clotted Cream (a kind of cream), if not, you can also use whipped cream instead.
Christmas pudding goes well with red wine, spirits, and strong beer.
In traditional families, a coin is added to the Christmas pudding when making it. Whoever eats it will be lucky.
