Handmade Honey Citron Tea
1.
Wipe clean the surface of grapefruit with salt,
2.
Separate the grapefruit and disperse it
3.
Remove the white layer from the pomelo peel, try to clean the white layer, and then soak it in 65 degrees water for about 20 minutes.
4.
Cut the soaked pomelo peel into shreds,
5.
Prepare a large pot of water to bring to a boil, put the pomelo skin and the meat together, cook for about 5 minutes, and pour out the water.
6.
Use a food processor to stir the watered skin and meat into a paste, add some water appropriately,
7.
Put the stirred grapefruit paste into a pot (a non-stick pan is best) and boil,
8.
Add rock sugar to a boil on high heat, then turn to medium heat and simmer slowly.
9.
Then the medium heat was turned to low heat and it was boiled slowly. It took me more than three hours to boil it well.
10.
Let it cool after it is boiled, and keep stirring during the boil. Don’t be lazy. I use red meat pomelo so the color is darker. If it is white meat, it will be golden yellow.
11.
After letting cool, add honey and stir evenly before bottling.
12.
A 5 kg grapefruit + 2 kg honey is boiled out.
