Honey Grapefruit Tea
1.
Use a knife to peel the yellow skin of the outer layer of the grapefruit into thin slices. The thinner the better, try not to make the white part, or it will cook bitterly.
2.
Cut the peeled grapefruit skin into thin strips for easy cooking
3.
Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, pour in rock sugar and boil it. It’s best to have white rock candy. I don’t have a big piece of red rock candy if I don’t have it.
4.
The rock sugar is boiled and put in the grapefruit peel and boiled for half an hour
5.
When the grapefruit peel is cooked until it is sticky, add the peeled grapefruit and cook for half an hour
6.
Let the boiled grapefruit peel cool, put it in a glass bottle prepared in advance, and put an appropriate amount of honey. If you like the sweetness, you can put more honey. The honey pomelo is ready, put it in the refrigerator, and scoop a few spoonfuls when you drink it.
Tips:
Stir the pomelo from time to time during the cooking process to prevent it from sticking to the pan. Try not to peel the grapefruit peel on the white part, otherwise it will be very bitter. I made it for the first time. The finished product is quite satisfactory. I can drink honey grapefruit tea at home. I am happy.
