Honey Grapefruit Tea
1.
Prepare the ingredients
2.
Rub the skin of the grapefruit with salt to remove the wax from the skin. After washing, peel off the grapefruit skin and remove the white part of the skin (otherwise it will be very bitter)
3.
Then cut the grapefruit peel into filaments, soak it in light salt water for a few hours, and then pour out the water that has been soaked in the peel. You will find some residual fruit wax on the surface of the water, which will disappear after a few more rinses. You can blanch it with boiling water (fruit wax is insoluble in water)
4.
In addition, peel the grapefruit and break it into small pieces for later use
5.
Put a small amount of water in the pot, put the grapefruit and rock sugar in
6.
Put the grapefruit peel in the pot and simmer slowly
7.
There is more water in the beginning, just a little stir with chopsticks.
8.
When the water in the pomelo is low, you have to keep stirring to prevent it from sticking.
9.
After boiling it, let it cool, add honey and mix well, store it in a clean bottle, scoop some grapefruit tea when eating, add warm water and rinse in.
Tips:
Be careful when peeling the grapefruit skin, do not peel the white part, or the grapefruit will become bitter. Soak it in salt water after cutting into silk.
