Honey Grapefruit Tea

1. Soak the whole grapefruit in hot water for about 10 minutes, and gently rub the grapefruit with salt.

2. Peel off the grapefruit with a paring knife, the thinner the better.

3. Use a knife to remove the inner layer of white cotton as much as possible.

4. Cut into 1 mm, 3 to 4 cm long filaments.

5. Put the grapefruit peel in salt water for a few hours to remove some of the bitterness. Rinse the grapefruit peel several times, put it in boiling water, add salt and cook for 10 minutes, the purpose is also to remove the bitterness in the grapefruit.

6. Peel all the pulp out, peel and remove the seeds, and break it with your hands.

7. Put an appropriate amount of rock sugar in the pot, add the sliced grapefruit peel and cook for about 10 minutes after boiling, so that it can fully absorb the sweetness of the rock sugar water. When the grapefruit peel is cooked to translucent, you can put the grapefruit flesh. Turn off the heat when the moisture is dry. After the boiled grapefruit tea is allowed to cool, add honey and stir.
