Red Bean Paste and Horseshoe Cake
1.
Stir 500 grams of water and 250 grams of horseshoe powder
2.
I sifted it twice after mixing well
3.
Pour 500 grams of water and 200 grams of sugar into the pot and cook on medium heat until the sugar is melted and boil. Turn off the heat
4.
Pour a tablespoon of horseshoe powder water into the sugar water and stir well
5.
Pour the well-mixed sugar water into the bowl of horseshoe powder water and mix well
6.
After stirring well, add 100 grams of homemade red bean paste and mix well again
7.
Pour into a large steaming pan, and steam for 20 minutes after boiling water in the pot (the time depends on the size of the selected steaming pan, usually 20-30 minutes)
8.
Let it cool thoroughly after steaming, it is not sticky but also easy to cut
9.
You can use your favorite mold to press out the shape or directly use a knife to cut into pieces (the knife can be rubbed with corn oil to prevent sticking)
Tips:
Replacing white sugar with yellow sliced sugar and red bean paste with 100g horseshoe crumble is the traditional recipe for horseshoe cake. The recipe is the same!
