Rose Pattern Apple Tower
1.
Put the puff pastry at room temperature to thaw, it may take about half an hour;
2.
The waiting time for defrosting can be used to process the apples. Cut the apple in half, core, and slice into thin slices (about 1-2mm in thickness). Do not peel, otherwise the finished product will not look good. Put the cut apple slices into a bowl containing a mixture of lemon juice and water to prevent the apple slices from being oxidized and discolored;
3.
Put the bowl with apple slices in the microwave oven for 3 minutes to make the apple slices slightly softer. The same effect can also be achieved by boiling it in a pot;
4.
Roll out the dough and make it as thin as possible. Then cut into 5cm x 22cm strips;
5.
Mix apricot jam with 2 tablespoons of water and put it in the microwave for 1 minute to make the jam easier to spread. Then you can apply it on the cut dough;
6.
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees, empty the dried apple slices;
7.
As shown in the picture below, arrange the apple slices on the dough and fold them in half. You can sprinkle some cinnamon powder if you like;
8.
As shown in the picture below, roll it up slowly and put it in the cupcake mold. If the mold is made of silicone, there is no need to do anti-sticking treatment, if it is not, please apply grease before use;
9.
After making the 6 budding roses, you can put them in the oven and "cultivate" them for about 40 minutes.
Tips:
When baking, make sure that the center part of the dough is fully cooked. If the edges of the apple slices bake during the baking process, move the baking tray to the lower layer of the oven to continue;
