Sauerkraut and Large Intestine Pot

Fresh large intestine.

Put flour and baking soda and knead back and forth. Rinse with water, turn it over and knead with some salt for a few minutes to remove excess grease, turn it over, and rinse for later use.

Cut green and red peppers into circles, cut green onions into sections and circles, and shred ginger.

Put water, green onion and ginger shreds in a pot and bring to a boil.

A lot of water will come out of the cleaned large intestine.

Put the cleaned large intestine in the pot and cook for about five minutes, then remove.

After washing off the foam, cut into short and long pieces.

Wash homemade sauerkraut. (You can also buy it in the supermarket or online)

Pour in the fried sauerkraut and stir fry, add the light soy sauce and stir well.

Pour boiling water until the large intestine is covered.

Tips:
1Nowadays, there are semi-finished large intestines in the vegetable market and the vegetable market, but I like to buy fresh ones and clean them when I go home.
2 Green and red peppers are not spicy, just to embellish the dishes. If the taste is heavy, you can add millet pepper.
3 Both bean paste and light soy sauce have a salty taste, no additional salt is required, except for heavy flavors.
