Autumn Pear Paste
1.
Prepare the materials
2.
Peel the pear, remove the core, and cut into small pieces. You can cook it directly, or use a food processor to beat the pears into puree. I didn't use a food processor to break them. After cutting into small pieces, put half a pot of water in the pot
3.
Add all the ingredients except honey, break the Luo Han Guo, remove the pits of the red dates, and shred the ginger slices.
4.
Bring to a boil and turn to medium-low heat. With the lid on, boil until the pear flesh is soft and rotten and can be easily crushed with a spoon. It takes about 30---45 minutes.
5.
Scoop the slag into a clean piece of gauze
6.
After letting cool, use gauze to squeeze out the remaining juice in the residue, and then filter all the juice with a strainer.
7.
Pear juice, strained twice, put it back into the pot
8.
Bring everyone to a boil, turn to medium and low heat to cook
9.
Keep it in a slightly boiling state, and keep stirring to prevent the bottom from getting muddy.
10.
After half of the water has been boiled and evaporated, the pear juice will gradually become thicker. After a few minutes of boiling, you can turn off the heat. After cooling down, you can add honey or not.
11.
Put the boiled autumn pear paste into a glass bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. When needed, take it on an empty stomach in the morning or before going to bed. Take a spoonful of autumn pear paste with 200ml of warm water. The shelf life of autumn pear paste is about 3 months.
12.
Wash the glass bottles, sterilize them in a pressure cooker, and dry them before use
Tips:
1. Try to use a casserole to cook, if not, use a thick-bottomed pot, so that it is not easy to paste, and the pot should be cleaned and not stained with oil
2. If you give it to children, make it once every other day, not as a drink
3. The medicinal materials can be bought in pharmacies, and the amount of honey should not be too much. I put one-third of the amount of the finished product.
