Autumn Pear Paste
1.
Prepare the ingredients. Just use the sand pears at home. The sand pears are relatively small, so I used 9 pears. I can also use the Yali pears. 5 Yali pears are enough.
2.
Peel the pears and remove the heart, soak the red dates to soften the core, peel the ginger and cut into small pieces, and chop the rock sugar.
3.
Put the pears, red dates, ginger, and water in an appropriate amount, put them in a blender and smash them together.
4.
Try to break it up and avoid any broken pieces. If the mixer is small, you can break it up several times. Don't be lazy.
5.
Then pour into the pot, add rock sugar and Luo Han Guo, simmer slowly until the rock sugar melts.
6.
After the rock sugar melts, the residue is filtered out and only water remains.
7.
Pour the water back into the pot and continue to boil it until it thickens.
8.
Turn off the heat in this state, then add honey and stir well.
Tips:
The amount of rock sugar can be adjusted according to taste. My favorite ratio is pear 2: rock sugar 1. Adding honey will make it sweeter, but it's just right to drink with water. Don't boil it too thick when you boil it, because it will become thicker after the autumn pear paste cools down. It is too wasteful to cook the dregs once. I cooked the dregs 3 times, and try not to waste it after filtering.
