Brown Sugar Coconut Horseshoe Cake
1.
All materials are ready
2.
125 grams of brown sugar added to 150 grams of water
3.
Cook until completely dissolved, set aside
4.
Add 200 grams of horseshoe powder to the basin, then add 140 grams of water, and mix until thick horseshoe paste
5.
Take 230 grams of horseshoe milk, add 160 grams of water, (the rest is used for coconut milk), and make a thin thick slurry
6.
Add two spoons of horseshoe liquid to the brown sugar water and mix well
7.
Add the remaining horseshoe liquid and mix well
8.
Add condensed milk to coconut milk and mix well
9.
Pour the well-mixed coconut milk into the remaining horseshoe milk and mix well
10.
Put hot water on the pot, add one and a half tablespoons of brown sugar horseshoe syrup to the steaming dish, and steam for about 5 minutes
11.
After the first layer is steamed, add the second layer of coconut milk horseshoe syrup, and steam for another 5 minutes. I also add horseshoe slices to the layer where coconut milk is added, and steam it layer by layer until it is full
12.
Let it cool and slice it and it's ready to eat
13.
I like to fry and eat, so I add some oil in a small pot to make the horseshoe cake fragrant, which is more delicious
14.
It's on the dish
Tips:
The steaming time for each layer is about 5 minutes, and the time depends on the thickness of your steaming. The horseshoe paste added with water for the first time is very thick, which is normal. The steaming dish does not need to be oiled, and it is easy to demould after cooling
