Candied Coconut Strips

Take the fresh coconut and take the coconut meat to scrape off the black skin.

Cut the coconut meat into strips about 8mm wide.

Add sugar and mix well.

Marinate for two to three hours for the sugar to melt completely.

After the sugar has melted, simmer on a low fire,

Cook until the syrup is almost boiled and the color becomes slightly yellow, away from the fire.

After the heat is removed, use a spoon to stir quickly and continuously to let it cool. It's okay until the sugar rises to the sand.
Tips:
Don't make too many coconut strips at once. Do it and finish it as soon as possible to avoid regaining moisture.
