Copycat Version of Kongli Honey Thick Toast
1.
Preparation materials: white toast, butter, ice cream, honey (forgot to shoot)
2.
4 slices of white toast, cut off the inner core along the inside of the side (bake it on the fire with a knife, it is especially easy to cut, and no crumbs will fall)
3.
Then cut the core into six small pieces (six or nine pieces depending on the size of the toast). My toast is relatively small and soft, so I cut six pieces. The cut pieces are placed in order to avoid baking. I can't put it in after I'm done
4.
The butter is softened in water and the honey is poured into a small dish
5.
Apply a layer of butter and honey on both sides of the small chess piece, butter first, then honey
6.
Put it into the preheated oven and bake at 160°C for 5 minutes
7.
While baking the chess pieces, coat the outer slices of the toast with honey, layer them on top of each other, put them in the oven, and bake at 160 degrees for 5 minutes.
8.
All the pieces are baked. My oven is small, so I divided it into two baking pieces. It would be best if the performance is good once.
9.
Place the chess pieces into the periphery of the baked toast in order
10.
Then dig two lumps of ice cream with a spoon, and it's done
Tips:
1. I bought this toast softer, if the toast is harder, the shape will look better
2. I heard people say that applying honey on the outer surface can make the outer slices stick together. I tried it and it didn’t stick, but the sweetness was enough, so that the outer slices would taste sweet and crispy, and not waste at all. Oh
3. The fire time and time of the oven should be based on the personal oven, so it can be baked until the surface changes color.
