Good Winter Beauty Tea ~ Bee Grapefruit Tea
1.
Ingredients: a grapefruit, a jar of honey, rock sugar, the ratio of bee to boiled grapefruit is 1:2. The amount of rock sugar depends on personal preference. If you like sweet, put more.
2.
Wash the pomelo with toothpaste. Cut off the yellow skin. Cut the white skin as little as possible, so that it is less bitter. I almost used the whole pomelo peel. One minute before the pan, I saw more peels on other posts Yes, the finished product will be very bitter, so 1/5 is taken away.
3.
Cut the grapefruit peel into shreds. Soak in salt water for about half an hour to remove the bitterness. Then take it out, wash it repeatedly, and set aside.
4.
Put water in the boiling pot and add appropriate amount of salt. Pour in the soaked grapefruit peel and cook for about 10 minutes until the grapefruit becomes soft. Take it out and rinse with water. The same is to remove the bitterness. Set aside.
5.
The grapefruit meat was peeled into small pieces for later use. About 80% of the whole grapefruit meat was used. The rest was too full at night and was taken away by my brother to promote digestion.
6.
Put the pomelo peel, pomelo meat, and rock sugar in a clean pot, add a small bowl of water, boil on high heat, then turn to medium and low heat, and cook until the water is dry and viscous. It takes about 1 hour.
7.
When cooked, it is crystal clear.
8.
After the pomelo is allowed to cool, put it in a clean glass bottle. Add the pomelo and honey at the same time. Mix well and let it sit for about a week before drinking. Honey can only be brewed with warm water, not boiled water, otherwise it will destroy its nutritional value. In addition, note that the bottle has been blanched with boiling water in advance, and there should be no raw water, otherwise it will be easily broken.
