Hand-held Biscuit Version Almond Puff Pastry
1.
Knock the eggs in a bowl, beat and stir well.
2.
Sprinkle a little flour on the chopping board, and spread a hand cake. The hand cake does not need to be thawed, and it is not easy to operate if it is soft.
3.
Brush a layer of egg wash.
4.
Sprinkle a little sugar and almond flakes, not too much. Coarse sugar has a better taste than fine sugar.
5.
Cover with a hand cake and press it lightly.
6.
Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar and almond flakes.
7.
Cut into suitable size.
8.
Arrange the cut slices on the baking sheet. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
9.
Bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. Pay attention to the fact that the hand cake will get oily. When the surface is relatively scorched and there is only a little oil left, take out the baking tray in time. I just bake it for a few more minutes and it's burnt.
Tips:
1. The hand cake does not need to be thawed. Sprinkle a little flour on the chopping board to prevent the hand cakes from softening and sticking to the chopping board.
2. The sugar and almond flakes on the first cake can be left alone. Don't put too much.
3. Temperature and time are for reference. Don't brush too much egg liquid, it will burn easily. There will be a lot of oil when the hand cake is baked, pay attention to it, and take it out in time when there is not much oil left. If you wait until the oil is completely dry before taking it, the surface will be too burnt.
