【homemade Bifidobacterium Yogurt】
1.
Before making yogurt, clean the container containing the yogurt, boil and disinfect, and then drain the water.
2.
Pour one liter of whole milk into a small milk pot. (The little milk pot is also cooked in boiling water)
3.
Adding white sugar, I don’t like it too sweet, so add 80 grams of sugar to 1L of milk. You can also add 100 grams if you like sweeter.
4.
Put the pot on the fire, simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir while boiling to melt the sugar. When the milk temperature reaches 42 to 45 degrees, leave the heat immediately.
5.
Add yogurt powder (this time using Bifidobacterium).
6.
Don't pour it all at once, add it slowly with your left hand, and mix it with your right hand at the same time. This will make the bacterial powder more even and avoid agglomeration.
7.
Divide, pour the stirred milk into the yogurt bottles. Don’t fill each bottle with two-thirds, and then fill each bottle. This is to prevent bacterial powder from settling in The bottom part, resulting in the uneven distribution of bacterial powder in each bottle.
8.
Close the lid.
9.
If Gary doesn't have a small yogurt bottle, he can also use Locke's sealed box.
10.
Install and close the lid. I usually pack such a larger box for breakfast the next day, and divide it up. If you can't finish it all at once, it is recommended to use a small yogurt bottle.
11.
Turn the oven to the fermentation position to preheat it.
12.
Put the packed milk to ferment for 5 to 6 hours, then put it in the refrigerator for ten hours or overnight after solidification, the flavor will be better.
Tips:
Poetry heart phrase:
1: When making yogurt, both the container and the yogurt used need to be sterilized.
2: It is recommended that the vials are packed separately.
