Kumquat, also known as kumquat, belongs to the Rutaceae family and is a famous fruit viewing plant. Especially in Guangdong and Hong Kong, many citizens buy Tujili during the Spring Festival.
The kumquat peel is fleshy, thick and smooth, with many glands and fragrance. It is native to southern my country. The fruit is eaten raw or candied fruit can be used as medicine to regulate qi and relieve cough.

Homemade Kumquat Preserves

1. Prepare the required materials

2. Soak the kumquat in salt water for 10 minutes to wash, and use a knife to make two cuts on the top of the kumquat

3. Pour 500 grams of water into the pot and boil, add rock sugar

4. Boil until the rock sugar melts, pour in the washed kumquats

5. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes

6. Stir gently with a small spoon in the middle to make the kumquat more delicious. Cook until the surface of the kumquat becomes transparent. Add a little salt to turn off the heat.

7. Pour the plastic wrap inside the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator overnight

8. Pour and drain the kumquat juice

9. Spread out the microwave tray and put it in the microwave on high heat for 3 minutes

10. Remove the reverse side and place in the microwave for 2 minutes. (A little juice will flow out when heating, just pour it out)

11. Continue to microwave, take out every 2 minutes to check the state, until it is tenacious

Tips:

Don't pour the boiled kumquat juice. Put it in an airtight jar and store it in the refrigerator. Add proper amount of boiling water when drinking, sour and sweet, sour and stop drinking.
