Homemade Tangerine Peel

Freshly picked citrus

Wipe its skin clean with paper towels

Use a knife on the bottom third of the citrus, pull it apart, don’t pull it to the top, leave a small part

Then pull the knife horizontally, the same don’t break

Peel gently with your hands

Be careful when you peel it to the top, don't break it

And then reverse it from the bottom

Peel all the citrus and put it in the sun in turn

After drying for two days, continue drying on the reverse side

Dry it repeatedly, put it in an airtight jar, and take it out when you eat

The peeled pulp can be used to make jam
Tips:
1. Make tea with orange peel (including orange red and orange white), suitable for people with spleen and stomach qi stagnation, abdominal distension, indigestion, loss of appetite, cough and phlegm;
2. It is also suitable for people who prevent hypertension, myocardial infarction, fatty liver, and acute mastitis;
3. Those with qi deficiency and body dryness, yin deficiency, dryness, coughing, vomiting blood, and actual heat inside should be taken with caution;
4. When the dried tangerine peel cannot be eaten in the second year, it should be taken out and dried. After that, it should be dried in the same way every year to prevent mold. The longer the tangerine peel is, the better.
