Homemade Yogurt

The finished yogurt starter and two 500g bags of pure milk.

Blanch the yogurt bucket and lid with boiling water for disinfection. After the yogurt bucket is dry, pour in pure milk.

According to the amount of pure milk, 1 gram of starter is needed, and 1 packet is 1 gram.

Take a small packet of yogurt starter and add it to pure milk.

Stir for half a minute, mix well, and cover the lid.

Put the yogurt bucket into the yogurt machine, close the lid, and set the time to start fermentation. (Usually 8 to 10 hours, 10 to 12 hours is recommended in winter)

Does fermented yogurt look like tofu brain? Let it cool and put it in the refrigerator. It tastes better after refrigerating. Mix with honey or sugar before eating to make it less sour, and add fresh fruits and nuts to make it taste better.

2. Do not open the lid at will during the fermentation, so as not to affect the fermentation effect.
3. Try to choose pure milk produced recently.
