Honey Grapefruit Tea
1.
Spread a layer of salt on the grapefruit and brush it clean; peel off the grapefruit peel
2.
The peeled yellow skin is cut into filaments about 4 cm long and 1 mm thick, the thinner the better
3.
Put the cut grapefruit peel in salt water and marinate for 1 hour
4.
To take out the pulp, I only used less than half of the grapefruit pulp.
5.
Put the marinated grapefruit peel in clean water and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat to soften and remove the bitterness. Rinse it with clean water. Those who are not afraid of hardship can not rush.
6.
Put the processed grapefruit peel and pulp into a clean oil-free pot, add appropriate amount of water and rock sugar, and boil for 1 hour on medium and low heat until it becomes viscous. Be careful to stir frequently when boiling to avoid sticking to the pot
7.
Use a spoon to stir into a puree (this step can also be processed with a blender)
8.
After letting cool, add honey, stir evenly to make honey grapefruit tea, put it in an airtight jar and store in the refrigerator, rinse with warm water when you drink it.
Tips:
The amount of sugar and honey is flexible.
