Rock Sugar Horseshoe Cake

There is no difficulty in making horseshoe cakes, and it can be done with zero foundation. First, prepare the ingredients.

Boil the rock sugar with half of the water and melt it. A friend asked if other sugars can be used? The answer is yes, but the color and taste are a little different. The horseshoe cake made with rock sugar is more clear, sweet-loving friends and appropriate amount of sugar.

Use half of the water to melt the horseshoe flour. It is best to sift the batter to remove impurities and make it more delicate.

After the rock sugar has melted, add the horseshoe to a boil.

After boiling until the water boils, add 3/1 horseshoe powder slurry, stir to make it sticky, and be careful not to have lumps.

Then pour the cooked flour slurry into the raw flour slurry and stir evenly, taking care not to have bumps.

Pour the batter into a mold, boil water on high heat, put it in a pot, turn to high heat, and steam for 30 minutes. The larger the mold, the longer the steaming time.

Freshly steamed horseshoe cake is not edible yet and needs to be thoroughly cooled.

After cooling, the horseshoe cake will become clear, and it can be eaten hot or cold.
