Sandworm Lean Meat Congee
1.
The sandworms are dried and the lean meat is ready.
2.
Do not wash the sandworms, cut them into sections, heat up the pan with an appropriate amount of oil, and stir-fry until golden brown.
3.
Soak the rice for 30 minutes, drain the water, add appropriate amount of salt and edible oil and mix well. Wash the lean meat and cut into shreds. Add some cooking wine and salt to mix well, and shred the ginger.
4.
Boil the water in the casserole, and pour the rice and dried sandworms into the pot. Bring to a boil on high fire and slowly boil on low fire. About 30 minutes or so.
5.
When the porridge is cooked, put the lean pork in. Stir it with a spoon. About ten minutes. The lean meat is cooked. Add the right amount of salt according to your taste. Sprinkle chopped green onions. Because dried sandworms already have an umami taste, there is basically no need to add chicken essence or anything.
Tips:
It's best not to wash the dried sandworms in water, just blow it with oil. The taste is greatly reduced after washing. The sand in the one I bought is very clean. If you buy a lot of sand, remember to take a good look when you cut it.
