Steamed White Pomfret

Buy fresh white pomfret at the seafood market, remove the viscera and gills of the fish, and then scrape the scales. The white pomfret has few and small scales and is easy to clean. Wash the shallots and yellow ginger and set aside. After washing the white pomfret, put a cross knife on both sides of the fish, and then put salt on both sides of the fish so that the fish is easy to taste

Cut the shallots into sections and the yellow ginger into shreds. Then pour the steamed fish soy sauce on the fish. Be careful not to steam the fish soy sauce too much so as not to taste salty. Put the fish in the fish dish. Put the onion and ginger on the fish dish and don’t put the onion and ginger on the fish. Leave for 6 to 7 minutes

Put water in the pot, wait until the water is boiled, and steam it on the basket. Steam for 8 to 10 minutes. It depends on the size of the fish. If the fish is big, steam it for 2 to 3 minutes to avoid uncooked and uncooked fish.

Tips:
1. White pomfret is a sea fish with a strong smell, so when pickling it, put more onion and ginger. It is better to remove the fishy scallion and yellow ginger.
2. This dish can also be adjusted by adding salt and steamed fish soy sauce according to your own taste.
