Stewed Pears with Loquat Leaves and Rock Sugar
1.
Wash the loquat leaves, peel the pears and set aside. Pears can also be washed clean without peeling, but I don’t like to eat them, so I peel them.
2.
Cut the loquat leaves in half and place them at the bottom of the stewing pot, or leave them uncut.
3.
Cut the pears into small pieces and put them in the stew pot. The size of the cut is not too big, and the knife can be cut evenly in size.
4.
Add the right amount of mineral water, about half is enough. Put in a few medlars. You can leave them for those you don’t like. This dessert is mainly loquat stewed pears, which can relieve cough, reduce phlegm, and moisturize the lungs. The medlars are added incidentally.
5.
Simmer over water for one and a half hours. If you don’t have a stew pot, you can cook or steam over water. Just control the heat.
6.
The finished product, soft and sweet
