Sweet and Sour Delicious Strawberry Jam
1.
At the beginning, you need to blanch all the tools you use with boiling water, otherwise the strawberry jam is not easy to store. Wash the strawberries.
2.
Cut into cubes. If you like the texture of the grain, you can cut it slightly larger. Cut a layer of white granulated sugar. The more sugar you put in, the longer it can be stored. After cutting it, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. I left it overnight and waited for the strawberry juice to come out.
3.
Put it in a stainless steel or ceramic pot, pour a little white sugar, you can put a little less at first, and when it boils, use chopsticks to taste the sweetness and sourness before adding it. The fruit acid will come out when it is heated, so don't be reluctant to put sugar when making jam. If you have lemons at home, you can add a little lemon juice to make the taste richer and make the color of the jam better. I don’t have any lemons in my house, and I think the jam is good.
4.
Start simmering on a low heat, and when it is boiled, use a spoon to stir constantly until it thickens.
5.
Let it cool, filling and refrigerating can be used with bread, biscuits, yogurt, etc. are good choices. The preservation time of self-made is not very long, probably more than a week. When I make too much, I like to fill it up and put it in the freezer, and then thaw it when I need to eat it. The taste is not very affected, and the storage time is much longer.
