Homemade Bean Paste 200g/ Ordinary Flour 150g Milk 60g/ Sweet Potato 60g/ Yeast 2g
2.
Add yeast and milk to ordinary flour, first stir the flour into a dough shape.
*If your baby is allergic to milk, you can also replace it with an equal amount of brewed formula milk, or water instead.
3.
Then use the palm of your hand to knead it into a smooth dough.
*The dough will be a little sticky at first, and the surface will gradually become smooth as you knead it. If the dough feels hard during the kneading process, you can add some milk, or if it is too soft to form, add some flour, remembering a small amount and multiple times.
4.
Cover with plastic wrap, place in a warm place, and ferment to twice its original size.
*Sisters whose room temperature is relatively high at home can be left to stand for fermentation directly, and for those with relatively low room temperature, I suggest to use other kitchen utensils to ferment directly:
If you use an oven, the fermentation function is about 40 degrees, and the fermentation is constant for about 1 hour. If you want to put it on a bamboo basket, you need to add half a pot of about 40 degrees warm water to the steamer, and cover the pot to ferment.
5.
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into small cubes, add them to the homemade bean paste, and stir well.
*I made a homemade red bean paste here. The tutorial is at the end of the article for the sisters. If you want to make your own, please remember to read it at the end of the article.
6.
After the fermentation is complete, remove the plastic wrap, knead the dough evenly, and knead it into a strip.
7.
Then cut into even-sized noodles.
8.
Use a rolling pin to roll each portion of the dough into a round cake shape.
9.
Put the bean paste and potato diced fillings in the pie, pinch it tightly.
10.
Put the agent mouth down, put it in the steamer, cover the pot and ferment for a second time for 10 minutes.
* During the second fermentation process, you don't need to open the fire, the purpose is to make the bean paste buns looser and softer.
11.
Then turn on medium heat and steam for about 15 minutes, turn off the heat and continue to simmer for 5 minutes.

Take it out and taste it. It's right from the snack to the home-cooked taste in my heart!
