Yogurt Hawthorn Balls

Heat pure milk, add sugar, stir until the sugar is completely melted, wait until the temperature of the milk cools to about 40 degrees, add the yogurt bacteria powder and stir evenly.

Pour into a bottle and ferment for 7 hours with the yogurt function of the bread machine. Note that the bottle should be boiled and sterilized in advance.

The cotton cloth for filtering yogurt should be boiled and disinfected in boiling water.

Pour the fermented yogurt into the filter cloth, put it in a tall container, and stick the top on the chopsticks.

Just filter it for about 2 hours to filter out the whey. Don't waste the filtered whey. It is excellent for making bread.

Filtered thick yogurt.

The thick yogurt and milk powder are put into the basin together. The amount of unsweetened whole milk powder I use depends on the consistency of the filtered yogurt. It can be adjusted appropriately to form a dough.

Mix evenly into a dough.

Cut the hawthorn cake into small dices, the specific size can be according to my preference, I cut the size of about 1 cm.

Take an appropriate amount of yogurt dough and wrap the hawthorn cake.

Roll the dough into a ball in the milk powder, the surface will not stick when it is covered with milk powder.

The prepared yogurt hawthorn balls are sweet and sour, with rich milk flavor.
Tips:
I don’t like too sweet, so I don’t put too much sugar in the yogurt. I like a little bit more. You can put more, or add some sugar to the filtered yogurt.
