Ai Ba Ba

Wash the fresh mugwort leaves.

Boil a pot of boiling water, add 1 teaspoon of edible baking soda (to keep the mugwort leaf green), add the mugwort leaf and cook for two or three minutes. When the leaves are softened with your hands, pick them up several times with cold water.

Squeeze the water from the mugwort leaves.

Put it in the food processor and break it.

Mix the glutinous rice flour, wheat starch, sugar, stir in the mugwort paste, knead the dough while adding the mugwort paste, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil (so that it is not sticky and easy to demould).

Knead into dough.

Divide the kneaded dough into several equal parts, wrap the fillings like dumplings, and knead the dough.

Put it into the moon cake mold and press it into a cake blank.

Put the finished biscuits into a steaming dish lined with a baking cloth.

Steam on high heat for 10 minutes.

You can smell the scent of mugwort by letting out the pot and letting cool.
Tips:
Add some baking soda when cooking mugwort leaves, the leaves will not yellow.
