Apple Cartoon Carved Pea Dragon
1.
Prepare a clean red apple, a carving knife, and a bowl of salt water (I soaked the apple with shell powder in advance, and then rubbed the surface of the apple skin with salt, so that you can feel relieved to eat with the apple skin. Washing the apple is your personal preference. select)
2.
First, carve out the mouth, nose, and eyes on the upper part of the apple. This step is equivalent to drawing on the apple with a carving knife. Determine the basic position of the pattern and the layout of the picture. Think about the approximate location before (the carved parts are soaked in salt water for a while to prevent oxidation)
3.
Then engrave the white belly part on the lower half of the apple. The pattern on the belly needs to be reserved to remove the unwanted apple skin (you need to soak it in salt water after engraving. It will not take a long time, just a few dozen seconds To avoid oxidation)
4.
Then carve out the details such as the outline and beard of the chinchilla. The final step is basically finalized, the main position is determined, and the rough pattern is determined, so the previous two steps are the key. You can engrave another leaf to decorate it, or you don’t need to engrave it, depending on your personal preference.
Tips:
Apple carving is a meticulous work. A carving knife is like a paintbrush, and an apple is like drawing paper. I can’t rush it and need to take it slowly, but the difference is that you can’t draw a draft on an apple like drawing paper. One cut is one cut, and you can see the wrong mark if you change it, so you need to figure out the overall composition position in advance.
