Mussels, also called Haihong, are delicious, with a protein content of up to 59%, rich in nutrients, and delicious when steamed. This time I borrowed from the Spanish paella, the sweet corn kernels and chopped onions, the rich mozzarella cheese, and the McCormick pizza sauce, it has a very exotic taste, it is worth a try~~

Ingredients

Assorted Mussels and Cheese Baked Rice

1. Wash the mussels, put in a steamer, medium heat, and open for about 10 minutes

2. While steaming the mussels, prepare assorted vegetables and chopped onions

3. After the mussels are steamed, they are shelled and the "foot silk" between the two pieces of meat is removed, which is the "fuzzy" that helps it attach to the rock wall.

4. Put the rice to the bottom of the bowl and flatten it with a spoon

5. Spread the mussels and mixed vegetables on the rice

6. Sprinkle chopped onion on the mussels. The function of onion is to increase fragrance and to relieve fishy

7. Spread the cheese sticks on the top layer

8. Put it in the preheated oven, middle level, upper and lower heat, 180 degrees, bake for five minutes. Bake to the point where the surface is slightly colored

9. Squeeze the pizza sauce. The amount of sauce can be increased or decreased according to your taste

10. Sprinkle another layer of cheese strips on the surface to cover the pizza sauce. So that the sauce won’t be too dry

11. Continue to put in the oven, 190 degrees, middle level, upper and lower fire, about 10 minutes, the surface color can personally like the surface to be slightly crispy, but the inside is soft and waxy, and the taste is richer. If you don’t like the crispy surface, you can adjust the temperature appropriately. Low, the baking time will be longer

Tips:

You can also spread the pizza sauce directly on the rice before spreading the mussels and mixed vegetables. However, I personally feel that if the sauce is spread between the two layers of cheese, the aroma will be better and richer after baking.
