1. For fresh basil, only the leaves and tender heads are picked.
2. Wash and drain.
3. Cut with scissors.
4. Pour in olive oil and store in an airtight refrigerator.
5. After a few days, the oil absorbed by the basil leaves sinks to the bottom of the bottle and can be used.
