Candied Orange Peel for Serving and Cooking-electric Cooker Recipe

Remove the pulp from the orange, just cut the orange peel and cut into eight pieces;

Use a knife to cut off the white part, as thin as possible;

Set aside the cut orange zest for later use;

Add appropriate amount of water and salt to the stewing pot, add orange zest;

The electric cooker selects the function of cooking porridge;

After about 1 hour, take out the orange peel and put it in cold water to cool; pour out the water in the stewing pot;

Cut into small cubes

Put it into the stewing pot, add a tablespoon of water and fine sugar, and continue to simmer;

Till the translucent state, after removing it, spread it out on a plate to dry;

Tips:
1. I use the Midea MINI electric saucepan to make this candied orange peel, which may be slower than if you use gas or an induction cooker, but you can do several things at the same time without looking at the fire;
2. In addition to cooking porridge and sugar water, the electric cooker can also make a lot of snacks.
