Prepare the required materials.

After the cream cheese is softened at room temperature, add fine sugar and heat insulated water and stir.

Stir until the cream cheese is smooth and non-grainy, leave the hot water.

After cooling down slightly, add milk and stir evenly with a manual whisk.

Then sift in the cornstarch and stir evenly.

Add the eggs and continue mixing with a manual whisk to form a uniform cheese paste.

Take a small bowl, scoop a spoonful of cheese paste, add instant coffee powder and stir well.

Use a rubber spatula to scrape the cheese paste into the cake mold covered with oil paper, then scoop the coffee cheese paste on the surface, and use a toothpick to draw a line on the coffee cheese paste.

After the oven is preheated, pour about 1 cm of hot water on the baking tray, and bake it in a steaming manner with insulation water at 180°C for about 40 minutes until the batter is solidified.
Tips:
Instant coffee powder can also be replaced with cocoa powder or matcha powder.
After the finished product is allowed to cool down, it can be easily demoulded by scraping a circle along the wall with a knife.
This cake tastes best when refrigerated.
